Buttock and leg contouring

Buttock augmentation with fat transfer or implants, and thigh and calf contouring.

Gluteoplasty, or buttock surgery, corrects the volume and shape of the buttocks. The same approach is used to balance the contour of the thighs and calves.

What it corrects

  • Small or flat buttocks
  • Large or sagging buttocks
  • Thin thighs and calves
  • The impression of bowed legs in the leg contour
  • A hollow in the buttock after an injury or operation

Techniques

  • Buttock augmentation with fat grafting: fat taken from the waist and abdomen is transferred to the buttocks, and the waist is slimmed at the same time
  • Buttock augmentation with implants: for those without enough fat to transfer
  • Buttock lift and reduction: excess skin and fat are removed
  • Calf and thigh augmentation: with an implant or fat transfer

Safety

Fat transfer to the buttocks is a risky operation when done incorrectly. That is why I place fat only under the skin, never into the muscle, and limit the volume transferred in one session.

Recovery

  • Sitting directly on the buttocks and lying on the back are restricted for the first two to three weeks
  • A compression garment is worn for four to six weeks
  • Part of the transferred fat is absorbed in the first months, and the rest stays permanently
